Terms of Use
Last updated: 6 November 2026
These Terms of Use explain the basis on which you may use the Husband Retail website.
The website is operated by Husband Retail Limited (“Husband Retail”, “we”, “us” or “our”), company number 2417197.
Our registered address is Unit 1603–06, 16/F, Alliance Building, 130–136 Connaught Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
Our correspondence and visiting address is 3/F, 8 Queen’s Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong. Visits are by appointment.
Please read these terms before using the website. If you do not agree to them, please stop using it.
1. About the website
The website provides information about Husband Retail, our consultancy services, projects and perspectives on retail real estate.
It is intended to help you understand our work and contact us about a possible appointment. Website content is general information and is not advice on a particular property, transaction, investment or business decision.
Obtain advice appropriate to your circumstances before acting on information published on the website.
2. Appointments and terms of business
Visiting the website, downloading material or submitting an enquiry does not appoint Husband Retail to act for you or create a consultancy engagement.
The scope of services, fees, responsibilities, confidentiality arrangements and other terms of an appointment are agreed separately.
These website terms do not replace an engagement agreement. If an engagement agreement and these terms differ on a matter concerning the services, the engagement agreement governs that matter.
3. Project information and research
Project descriptions reflect the scope and circumstances of the work described. They may concern a particular phase, appointment or contribution rather than every aspect of a development.
Results achieved on one project do not establish what another project will achieve. Outcomes depend on market conditions, client decisions, project circumstances and other factors.
Research, opinions, estimates and forecasts reflect the information and assumptions available when prepared. They may change and should not be treated as guarantees of future performance.
Publication does not create a commitment to update every item.
4. Using our content
Rights in the website’s text, images, graphics, reports and other materials belong to Husband Retail or the relevant rights holders. Third-party names, logos and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
You may read the website and keep copies for personal reference or internal business evaluation, subject to any separate terms stated for particular material.
When keeping or sharing a permitted copy, retain relevant attribution and copyright notices.
For republication, commercial distribution, modification or other reuse beyond what applicable law permits, obtain permission from the relevant rights holder.
Permission to use website content does not grant a right to use our name or branding in a way that suggests an endorsement, appointment or commercial relationship.
5. Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with its operation or other people’s use.
You must not:
- Introduce malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorised access.
- Interfere with the website, its servers or connected systems.
- Use enquiry forms to send spam or unlawful, misleading or abusive material.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or authority.
- Use website content in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect the website.
6. Enquiries and confidential information
Please provide accurate contact details and a clear outline of your enquiry.
Before sending confidential project documents, commercially sensitive information or personal data about other people, contact us to agree an appropriate way to share it.
Submitting an enquiry does not, by itself, create a consultancy appointment or a separate confidentiality agreement. Any existing contractual or legal confidentiality duties remain unaffected.
7. External links and personal data
Links to external websites and embedded services are provided for information or convenience.
We do not control external websites or their content, availability or practices. A link does not, by itself, indicate endorsement. Separate terms and privacy notices may apply when you use an external service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data received through the website and business enquiries.
Using the website or accepting these terms does not, by itself, constitute consent to direct marketing.
8. Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep the website useful and accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every item is complete, current or free from error.
We may update, suspend or withdraw website content or functions.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on general website information as advice for a particular decision or from the website being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law.
Liability relating to an appointed consultancy service is governed by the relevant engagement agreement and applicable law.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page and changing the date above.
Please review the current version when using the website. Changes apply to use of the website after the revised terms are published and do not retrospectively amend a separate engagement agreement.
10. Governing law and remaining provisions
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The courts of Hong Kong SAR have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms. Any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply remain unaffected.
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
